General Information

College Library Computer and Media Center has a free computer classroom (room 2257) for faculty and staff teaching courses for credit at UW-Madison.

The classroom has two projectors, 14 workstations with headphones and microphones, four scanners, an instructor's station, whiteboards, a document camera, a VCR and a wide range of multimedia software.

All computers are dual-boot iMacs that can be booted into either Windows XP or Mac OSX.

Please be sure you understand the room's policies before reserving.

To make a reservation for the CMC Classroom, first check the classroom calendar for availability and then fill out the Reservation Request Form.

The classroom can also be rented for $75 per hour or $500 per day for non-credit course use. An additional fee of $50 per hour will be charged for custom setup.

Use this form to reserve time in the Computer and Media Center (CMC) Classroom, located in Room 2257 Helen C. White Hall, 600 North Park Street. The CMC Manager will then e-mail you within a few days to confirm your appointment.

Check the CMC Classroom Calendar for availability. Include setup time in your request, if necessary. Also note that there might be requests in the queue that aren't reflected yet on the calendar.
