These areas are for quiet study. Please lower your voice and keep your conversation brief.
Room 1191 (Note: during business hours, this room may experience more traffic and noise as staff engage in work activities.)

Silent study area

Through a library user survey, many students asked for a No Talking study hall. Please do not talk in the silent study area which is located in the half of Room 3191 closest to Observatory Drive.

Group study areas

These open areas are for people who want to study together. Conversations are permitted.
Room 1250 and Open Book Cafe
Center Areas on the First, Second and Third Floors


Reservable private group study rooms:
Rooms 2258, 2191A, 2191B, 2191C and 2191D
Rooms 3203 and 3205
You may reserve these small group study rooms for four hours a week by using the online group study room reservations system.
